The coverage area is like a sphere surrounding each access point and stretches equally far in all directions. For optimal coverage and performance, consider the following: Distribute the other devices in the home and connect them to power. Both LEDs in the front will then have a green light. Power the access point on (small button on the back of each device), bootup will take a couple of minutes. If you want to map the coverage in your home, measure signals before making changes. The devices should not be used at temperatures below 0☌ or above 40☌.
